COURSE OBJECTIVES
Learning Unit 1: Understanding Remote Surveillance Systems
Learning Outcome 1 (LO1): Develop skills to operate and troubleshoot remote surveillance equipment
Learning Outcome 2 (LO2): Gain knowledge about different types and uses of surveillance cameras
Learning Unit 2: Performing Remote Surveillance Monitoring
Learning Outcome 3 (LO3): Acquire practical skills in performing remote CCTV surveillance monitoring
Learning Outcome 4 (LO4): Understand the different augmented analytics abilities used in remote surveillance systems.
PRE-REQUISITES
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English at WPL Level 3.
- Ability to read content displayed on a computer monitor and have clear vision at a distance.
- Basic skills in operating a computer.
- Smartphone with an internet connection and QR code scanner function (this will be used during the POLWEL assessment).
