COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Explain the importance of sustainable building practices and the contribution to environmental stewardship to secure stakeholders buy-in.
- Conduct energy simulations to assess facility performance based on cost estimations and interpret results to optimize building performance.
- Evaluate risk associated with the facility’s green building strategies to propose mitigation measures.
- Develop maintenance plans for green building features based on the risk assessment results, energy simulation and performance analyses outcomes to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute facility operations and maintenance procedures to uphold organizational green building strategies.
- Check the effective implementation of environmental control measures to meet environmental related control measures
PRE-REQUISITES
- Age: 21 years old
- Language: Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 5.
- Academic: Obtained at least N-Level in English or ITE qualification and above.
- Experience: At least 1 year experience in built environment.
