Engineering Project Management in IFM & AFM
The Engineering Project Management in Integrated/Aggregated Facilities Management course equips Facility engineers and Facility Project managers with essential skills to effectively manage complex projects within Singapore's evolving I/AFM sector.
This intermediate-level course focuses on practical application of project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, aligned with the Project Management Technical Skills and Competency (TSC) code BEV-BIN-3021-1.1-1. Learners will develop competencies in budget management, stakeholder engagement, and contract management, enhancing their ability to drive project success and advance their careers in the Built Environment.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Explain the concepts and principles of project management, including stakeholder engagement and contract specifications
- Apply project management tools and techniques to communicate project schedules, quality requirements, and risk management plans
- Interpret the stages and processes of project management to align communication with project requirements
- Examine project statuses to ensure adherence to agreed plans and timelines using resource monitoring techniques
- Assess project budgets by identifying components and applying appropriate monitoring approaches
- Relate site inspection results with project specifications and performance indicators to evaluate project success
- Spot gaps in project delivery by analyzing expected project outcomes and actual performance
PRE-REQUISITES
- Language: Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 5.
- Academic: Obtained at least N-Level in English or ITE qualification and above.
- Experience: At least 1 year experience in built environment.
