Improve Workplace Ventilation to Reduce Risk of COVID-19
Poor ventilation increases the risk of air-borne COVID-19 transmission or spread of other infectious diseases. With more people back at the workplace as we move towards COVID endemicity, it is important to adopt good ventilation measures to keep such workplaces COVID-safe.
The Workplace Health and Safety Council (WSH Council) has collaborated with the National Environment Agency (NEA) to produce a video (https://youtu.be/SFDTTBGvfHc) on how different workplaces can improve their ventilation.
Based on the updated Guidance Note on improving building ventilation and indoor air quality, jointly issued by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), NEA and Ministry of Health (MOH), the video also imparts useful tips on how to measure CO2 levels at the workplace, to know whether it is ventilated enough.
Together, we can all play our part to keep our workplace healthy.
